What services do you offer?

We offer an (almost) unlimited range of wine tastings to meet your needs, plus we are also able to offer corporate tastings and wine advisory (for weddings and special meals). If you think we can help you enjoy wine more - please reach out to ask!

How many people can you do a tasting for at once?

Our core range of tastings focus on tasting 6 bottles of wines - this fits well within the 2 hours we allow for groups of 6 to 8 people. If you’re keen to have more than 8 people please do let us know when you book and we can review with you!

Where are you willing to travel to?

We are based in Oxfordshire, and as our name suggests we are happy to travel anywhere within Oxfordshire. However we are able to travel to parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire (we may just need to charge a bit extra for travel time and mileage!) - if in doubt please do drop us a message!

Why do you need notice and prepayment?

To host tastings at your home or a venue of your choice, we are required (in Oxfordshire at least) to book and pay for a Temporary Event Notice licence to host an event at your home or venue. We have to apply for this to the Council with at least 10 days’ notice (or policy allows 3 weeks to submit the paperwork), and these currently cost £21 per event.

PS - Fun fact, we are also required to hold a personal licence (which we do!).

We take prepayment to cover the cost of the above, plus to go out and buy the wines for your tasting. We usually do this 1-2 weeks before your tasting date. We do not hold “stock” wines, and we are not partnered with any wine shops or supermarkets - this allows us to have variety in our tastings and to offer more bespoke tastings.

What is included in your costs?

We can customise to your requirements subject to discussion, but generally our tastings allow for:

  • Two person “tasting team” coming to your home/venue

  • Six (750ml) bottles of wine (whatever we don’t use during the tasting we will leave you to enjoy!)

  • Two hours of our time to set up, take you through a guided tasting and answer your questions

  • Professional wine tasting glasses (yes we bring and take these away - no washing up!)

  • Tasting materials & notes

We have a lot of options we can add - from additional wines to food pairings!
