How we work?

How do tastings work?

You provide the venue (usually your home) and the friends/family, and we will bring the rest.

Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or have a treat night in, we are ready to bring OWT to you.

We provide:

  • The wine! Bonus - you keep any of the wine left at the end of the night

  • Professional tasting glasses so we can get the most out of the experience

  • Tasting mat and tasting booklet so you can make notes, doodle or just keep as a memory

  • Licence so that we can provide the tasting at a location of your choice

  • A two hour guided tasting, with plenty of time to ask questions

  • A safe space for you to ask any wine related question that you have always wanted to know!

Why is OWT different?

We are truly independent! We buy our wine from retailers that you can also purchase them from - this is intentional as so many wine tastings feature wines that you fall in love with and then realise you can never find them (this happens so often in restaurants).

There is no sales pitch! We are not affiliated with any wine company, therefore can bring honest opinions and there’s no obligation to spend an extra penny (or sign up to a subscription that you wake up regretting).

Natalie is down to earth, a northern girl at heart, that will meet you where you are at. No pretentiousness, no snobby wine chat, just the authentic opinions and a little education along the way. All aimed at giving you the confidence when ordering at a wine bar, talking to a sommelier in a restaurant or simply picking a bottle off a shelf for you or a friend.

A woman with blonde hair and glasses is sitting at a dinner table during a social event, looking to the side with her hands clasped in front of her. There are wine glasses and plates in front of her, and other people are visible in the background.
