Questions
If anything here isn't clear, or your circumstances don't quite fit the above, just get in touch: natalie@oxfordshirewinetastings.co.uk and we will do what I can to help.
Rescheduling Policy
When you book with Oxfordshire Wine Tastings, you're holding a date on our calendar that becomes unavailable to other clients, and I purchase wine specifically for your event. Due to this, and as the event's licence (a Temporary Event Notice, or "TEN") is tied to your specific date and location, all bookings are non-refundable. There are no cancellations for a refund under any circumstances.
That said, we know that plans can change, and we want to be as flexible as we can within what the licensing process allows:
Rescheduling: If you need to move your date, email natalie@oxfordshirewinetastings.co.uk at least 3 weeks before your booking. We will do our best to find an alternative date for you. (We ask for 3 weeks rather than the council's 10-working-day minimum so there's a comfortable buffer for processing the new licence and reordering wine if needed.)
Transferring to someone else: If you can no longer host at all, you're welcome to pass the experience to a friend or family member at no extra cost, with at least 3 weeks' notice. The new host must provide a confirmed address for licensing purposes and cover the cost of the replacement licence (at cost - currently £21.00 as of 1st June 2026), since a new TEN has to be issued in their name for their address.
Requests made with less than 3 weeks' notice: I'm unable to reschedule or transfer bookings inside this window, as there isn't enough time to amend or reissue the licence.
If a guest drops out at short notice: the tasting still goes ahead as booked. Payment covers the group as a whole, so you'll simply have more wine left over to enjoy afterwards.
If we ever need to cancel or reschedule a booking, for example due to illness or a licence being refused, we will let you know as soon as possible and either find you an alternative date or provide a full refund.
